Who we are
Chung Digital is a SaaS SEO agency run by Furqan Ashraf in Lahore, Pakistan. We are responsible for the personal data collected on chungdigital.com. For any privacy question or request, email furqan@chungdigital.com.
What we collect
When you visit any page: your IP address, the approximate location worked out from it (country, region, and city), your browser, device type, operating system, language, and screen size, the pages you open, the site that sent you, and any campaign (UTM) tags in the link.
When you use a free tool: what you enter (for example a URL, text, or calculator numbers), the result, any error, and how long it took, together with the visit details above.
When you send the contact form: your name, email, company, website, the service, package, and budget you pick, and your message, together with the visit details above and the page you first arrived on.
If you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record how you use the site, such as pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and time on page. Clarity can also make recordings of a visit's mouse movements and clicks.
Why we use it
To run the free tools, find what goes wrong in them, and make them better and faster. This is our legitimate interest.
To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal. This is a step you ask for before a possible contract.
To understand which pages and sources bring visitors and leads, and to block spam and abuse. This is our legitimate interest.
Analytics cookies in Europe and the UK only run with your consent. Elsewhere they run by default and you can turn them off below.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use these services to run the site. They handle data on our behalf, and some of them store it in the United States or other countries outside your own.
Vercel: hosting, and the location details worked out from your IP address
Neon: the database that stores visit, tool, and contact form data
Resend: delivers contact form messages to our inbox
Cloudflare: writes the AI explanations and drafts in the tools, using what you entered
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: site analytics, only when allowed
How long we keep it
Visit and tool data: 12 months, then deleted automatically
Contact form submissions: 24 months, then deleted automatically. Emails you exchange with us stay in our inbox while we work together.
Google Analytics and Clarity data: kept by those services under their own retention settings
Cookies and storage on your device
Our own tools and visit logging set no cookies.
Your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again.
If you pick a package, it is kept in session storage until you close the tab, so the contact form can fill it in.
Google Analytics (_ga cookies) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck and _clsk cookies) are only set when analytics is allowed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email furqan@chungdigital.com and, where you can, include the IP address or email address the data is linked to. We reply within 30 days.
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use data, we update this page and the date at the top.
Your analytics choice
Turning them off also stops our own visit logging for this browser. What you enter in the tools is still saved, so we can fix errors.
